About UsPresident Linda Witherow, DDS, Current President for 2023, Board of Director member since 2015. Dr. Witherow has been a dentist for over 31 years. Her education is from West Virginia University of Dentistry, and she had a private dental practice in Citrus County for over 25 years, She brings her experience in running an efficient dental clinic to the board as well as volunteering as a dentist to evaluate patient screenings and for dental care. Treasurer Susan Walsh, Board of Director Treasurer since 2023. She has been a resident of Citrus County for over 22 years and was looking for an opportunity to ‘give back’ to the community she enjoy. She expresses her passion of servitude to Nature Coast Ministries because our dental volunteers provide much needed dental care to an underserved segment of our community. Secretary Mark McLaurin since 2020. Mr. McLaurin is a retired teacher of math and science and a United States Army veteran of the 2/36 Armored Inf. Regiment, 3rd Armored Division. He is also very active in Men’s Ministries. Robert Bromley, Board of Director since July 2023. Mr. Bromley is a retired law enforcement officer of over 40 years. He was Chief of Police in Fairfield, Maine and Alstead New Hampshire. He was also an active Medical EMT for ten years. As a retired law enforcement officer, town selectman, police commissioner, he has also worked on budget committees. Mr. Bromley has a passion of working with wood, restoring, or fixing wood furniture. The proceeds of the work is donated to Nature Coast Ministries. Arthur F. Burt D.D.S., Board of Director since 2023. Dr. Burt has a B.S. in Zoology from the University of Florida and a DDS degree from the Medical College of Virginia. He has been practicing dentistry for over 50 years and has completed over 150 hours of continuing education. Dr. Burt has traveled across the county to be trained in implant and cosmetic restoration. Dr. Burt has donated his talent as a dentist to the Homeless Emergency Project in Clearwater, Florida, UPARC in Pinellas County, the Pinellas County Sheriff’s office as a referral for domestic violence victims needing dental care, The Florida Arc, and has been a Rotarian for 50 years and is also a volunteer dentist for NCM. Don McTarnaghan, Board of Director reinstated Jul 2023. Founder of Nature Coast Ministries in 2007. Mr. McTarnaghan has studied Roman Catholic, and Protestantism, and today is a VP of Beth Elohim Messianic Synagogue in Inverness. He is a United States Navy veteran who served in Viet Nam. He studied Design and Construction at Penn College and owned a general contracting company in Rochester, New York. Bob Plaisted, Board of Director since 2012. He is the Mayor of Inverness since 2004 and a United States Navy veteran. Mayor Plaisted is involved with many nonprofit organization and is an active member of First Baptist Church of Inverness. Mayor Plaisted is also a Rotarian. Richard Reddy, DDS, Board of Directors since 2023. Dr. Richard W. Reddy is a native of Berks County, PA. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Albright College and then went on to receive his dental degree, a D.D.S., from Georgetown University School of Dentistry. He founded Fleetwood Dentistry in Fleetwood PA, and after 43 years he retired to move to Florida. Dr. Reddy success as an experienced professional in the oral health field is a direct result of a first-rate education, ongoing medical and technological training, and an active participation in several leading national and regional professional associations. He was awarded the title Master of the Academy of General Dentistry in 2007, an extremely high honor to the field of general dentistry that fewer than 3,000 dentists share worldwide. He continues to strive for dental excellence by providing comprehensive care. Dr. Reddy is also involved yearly in missionary dental services through several organizations and currently serves in the United States Army Reserve Dental Corps. Jack Seeberg, Board of Director since 2017. Dr. Jack Seeberg operated his own dental practice for over 20 years followed by teaching dental students and reorganizing a non-profit dental clinic in Tennessee. Dr. Seeberg’s experience with non-profit dental care is extensive and his desire to improve the overall health of the underserved.
